Data Collection & Use
The extension helps you select and copy text from web pages. We do not access or collect personal information, browsing history, account details, or other sensitive data unless you explicitly copy it. Copied text is stored locally in the browser via chrome.storage.local so you can view and reuse it in the popup. No data is transmitted to servers, third-party services, or the developer.
Data Storage & Retention
All clippings remain on your device and are capped at the most recent 100 items. Closing the browser or uninstalling the extension removes the stored clippings. You can also delete individual items at any time from the history list.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or rent your data to anyone. The extension does not embed third-party trackers or advertising scripts.
Permissions
The extension requires access to the pages you visit solely to detect and copy the text you select. We do not read or modify other page content without your interaction.
Security Measures
Because all clippings stay local, nothing is sent over the network. Clipboard handling occurs only when you actively trigger a copy, minimizing accidental exposure.
User Choice
You may clear the history, disable, or uninstall the extension at any time. Uninstalling automatically removes all locally stored data.
Policy Updates
If future updates change how data is handled, we will announce the updates in the extension listing or release notes and provide notice before changes take effect.
